Hart Deer will be performing not once but TWICE at this year's Space Rock Con, which shall be held at Tasty World in Athens, GA! Hart will be doing a solo set, and he will also be performing with the most darkly forboding band of mystery: the Dark Night of the Soul. The convention is from noon to midnight. Be there at noon because the bands will be more or less drawing straws to determine the order of performance.
Sunday September 14th, Hart will rock out at WonderRoot! This will be a very different kind of Hart Deer show, but you'll like it. Be there at 5PM! Here's details:

Hart is a WREK (91.1 FM) DJ! Hart is doing a Rock Rhythm and Roll shift on Fridays from 3PM-5PM. Tune in and he will play rock, blues, rap, reggae, and R&B. Together with his co-hosts, the frighteningly ferocious Ibraham Morano and the gruff and snarling Frank Freakin' Fuller, listen in for a sonic plethora of all things underground. Hart Deer videos of live performance from Roswell have been done from by Smilestyles Multimedia. There are some real surprises for those of you familiar with the older live set from GSTV. For instance, songs like Welcome to the Dark Side and Snow White have been dramatically reworked. All of these videos are available for free right here on the Hart Deer website.
Hart Deer played one of the two lead roles in Allen Welty-Green's rock opera Sisyphus at 8PM on July 27th and 28th at the Eyedrum Gallery. Video should be soon forthcoming.
The legendary space rock combo Weerd, featuring Hart Deer, tore up the Atlanta manifestation of the legendary Space Rock Con (done for the last 13 years in Alabama) on April 28th at Lenny's!! Hart took on the role of lead singer and Gunslinging Acoustic Guitar Cowboy From Hell in an energetic explosion of colorful derangement. Video footage shall be forthcoming soon!
Hart and some friends are working on a new album called "The Unlikely Tale of Captain Weird". The details must be kept secret, but Hart wrote the songs around an idea for music theater that has never been done before. Keep your eyes open for it!
On August 31st, Hart went on the radio; WRAS, 88.5 FM. Hart spoke about the music business, and also Treatwell Music and Entertainment. Hart was interviewed by Mr. Frank Fuller.
